Great teacher, fun project, and a really nice guy. Thanks for a great couple hours, sharing an almost lost art. Much appreciated!" A satisfied student
"Your class was one of the highlights of my summer. And I have such a sense of satisfaction now, as I harvest this broomcorn and prepare to make brooms that I grew!" 2008 College of The Arts Student

Saturday, March 20 Grafting Fruit Trees (12-2:00 p.m.) with John Holzwart

grafting. For centuries, people have been changing fruit trees to suit their needs, and you can too! In this class, we will each graft and take home two semi-dwarf trees of your choice (apple, pear or plum). Root stocks
and scion wood (fruit tree cuttings) provided. Additional materials will be available for a fee, if you want to graft more trees. If you have a sharp knife bring it with you, but there will be some available as well.
Fee: $16 Sponsored by and held at the University of Wisconsin, Sheboygan. To register call 920-459-6617.
