This program is for men only and provides a unique space to explore the many
trials and tribulations of being a male in our society. There will be guest
instructors and an opportunity to interact with the community through a sweat
lodge on the last day of the event. Your stay will be a rustic camping
experience, with access to an outdoor solar shower and a composting outhouse,
offering the chance to literally live with the land.
We will be staying on 20
acres of land and we will have access to over 180 acres to explore, in the
beautiful Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin. This is one of the only areas
of America consistently missed by advancing glaciers over the millennia,
hence the name "Driftless or Unglaciated Region". This has preserved the
unique topography of the region with its famous bluffs, coulees and small
winding streams, which are mesmerizing. This rich, organic, ancient earth
captures the soul. The topography was formed over 100 million years ago,
this land is ancient and has much to teach and offer us!!
