Wise Woman Herbal Apprenticeship Programs Participants in these programs leave with a strong foundation in herbal wisdom and nourishment. The first eight weeks are focused on incorporating herbs into our daily life to promote health. Subsequent sessions build on this knowledge and participants develop a first aid kit and learn to apply herbs for common injuries and ailments. This program is seasonal, so in addition we will harvest plants of the season; generally speaking leaves and buds in the spring, flowers in the summer, seeds and roots in the fall and from the pantry in the winter.  Participants who wish to receive additional guidance can work with Linda for 1-2 years or participate in the new Earthways/Herbal residential apprenticeship program.

Herbal Wisdom for Women's Health
Throughout history, women have handed down information from mother to daughter on how herbs can remedy some of the common maladies of life. Women, like the moon, change in cycles. Through menarche (the first menses), menstrual cycles, pregnancy, nursing, and menopause, herbs have been a common denominator for the wise woman and those she comforts. This program will offer an overview of western herbs that have historically supported women's health. Focusing on nourishing the body, we will make and sample teas and infusions that can support overall health and we will craft remedies for you to take home. Participants will leave feeling confident about incorporating herbs into their daily life.

Don't miss out on this wonderful 2 part series...
