Feta Cheese Kit Make your own feta cheese at home! We have been making this simple feta cheese in our kitchen for years and you can too. You will receive a piima culture (this will be the starter for your feta cheese and if handled properly can last a lifetime), organic liquid vegetable rennet (1 ounce, which will make 6-12 batches of cheese-depending on what type of cheese you make) and written instructions on how to work with raw milk to make butter, buttermilk, feta, farmer and ricotta cheese. You will need to add a cheese or muslin cloth, coarse sea salt and a thermometer. Instructions are focused on making cheese with farm fresh raw milk.
