About the event
Spend the day after Thanksgiving slowing down with a meditative, hands-on craft. Herbalist Linda Conroy will guide you as you design and complete your own coiled basket using long pine needles and fragrant sweetgrass, with the option to add natural accents like black walnut hull and pine cone.
This class is a great opportunity for both beginners and intermediate weavers to learn and expand their skills. All other supplies are provided.
When and where: Friday, November 27, 2026, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at Driftless Folk School in Gays Mills, WI. Lunch is provided. Ages 12 and up.
Cost: Sliding scale of $90, $115, or $140, plus a $25 materials fee. Please bring a small pair of scissors, a thimble, and reading glasses if needed.
