About the event

Join herbalist Linda Conroy for an afternoon of calm and connection. We will begin our time together with a guided meditation, followed by a talking circle, which will help to shape the workshop experience. We will explore herbs, food and activities that support restful sleep, reduce anxiety, help your body adapt to stress and nourish the nervous system. Strategies for bringing these into your daily life will also be discussed. We will learn about the wide spectrum of herbs that are called nervines and identify their unique expressions, so that we can determine their applications. Another important category of herbs are adaptogens. We will learn about their origins, identify their unique qualities and discuss each of their applications. The food we ingest can be calming and engaging to our senses, or stimulate a stress response. We will discuss foods, topical applications, sleep rituals and more.
