About the event
Join Linda Conroy for a guided Wild Food, Wild Medicine plant walk and experience the seasonal plants that offer us both food and healing. These engaging walks invite you to slow down, observe closely, and connect with the edible and medicinal plants growing in our local landscape.
As we move through the terrain, we’ll identify seasonal species and explore their traditional uses, along with how they can be harvested and prepared for the kitchen and apothecary. Participants will gain practical knowledge in plant identification, ethical harvesting practices, and important safety considerations. Whether you’re a seasoned forager or herbalist, or new to the plant world, you’ll come away with fresh insights and useful skills.
Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
