Wild Food, Wild Medicine: 2 Day Immersion

Join Moonwise Herb's Linda Conroy and Driftless Folk School for this two-day immersion, focusing on the plants that grow around us.

Day one will focus on herbs and wild food for nourishment as participants learn to identify, harvest, and prepare plants that promote and build health. As part of the learning experience, we will prepare a nourishing, wild, herbal lunch!

Day two will focus on herbal medicine with a wild plant walk, in which participants will learn to identify medicinal plants that grow around us. We will discuss ways to differentiate nourishing and medicinal herbs, along with how to best prepare them for optimal benefit.

On this walk, you will learn to engage the senses to explore plant qualities. Lunch will be served and will include whole, wild foods. The latter part of the day will be spent making herbal medicines that participants will be able to take home.
