About the event
Step off the path and into a deeper relationship with the land. Join us for an immersive wild food and wild medicine plant walk, where we’ll explore the nourishing and healing plants growing freely around us. As we wander together, you’ll be introduced to seasonal wild plants that have long supported human health as both food and medicine. We’ll talk about plant identification, traditional and folk uses, ethical harvesting, and how to safely work with wild plants. This walk is as much about listening and observing as it is about learning to slow down, engage the senses, and notice the quiet abundance of the natural world.
Note: $5.00 of your registration fee will be donated to the Mequon Nature Preserve.
